To protect the privacy of our members who are posting about their babies & pregnancies and posting photos, we encourage all members to actively post and will not tolerate lurking.

Once registered, we appreciate it will take a little while for you to familiarise yourself with the layout of the forum. Therefore you will have 7 days from your account being activated to make your 1st post. If this does not happen, your account will be temporarily deactivated.

You must also make an active monthly contribution to the forum in order to maintain an active account. If this does not happen, again, your account will be temporarily deactivated.

In both cases, an email will be sent to your registered address to inform you. If we do not hear from you within 7 days of the original notice, we will permanently delete your account. However, if you wish to remain a member of Mum’s the Word, you can contact the administrator to request your account be re-activated so you can log back on and join in with our friendly chats.

We have noticed several people registering after links to websites are posted on our forum.

Please note, our members are discussing very personal things about themselves and/or children. We do not think it's fair to our members to let new members register who are not going to make an active contribution, but who are only registering to see what is being said about your products/business. We understand why you would be interested to see what is being said and, in that case please send an email to:
